Ingredients

For the Tandoori Marinade:

  • o ½ cup Greek yogurt or hung curd
  • o 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  • o 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • o 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • o 1 tsp red chili powder

Pizza Base:

  • o 1 thin crust pizza base store-bought or homemade
  • o 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing

Toppings:

  • o 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • o ½ cup sliced onions
  • o ½ cup sliced bell peppers
  • o 1 cup cooked tandoori chicken or paneer marinated in the mixture above
  • o Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade:

  • In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and red chili powder to form the marinade.

Marinate the Protein:

  • Coat your choice of chicken or paneer in the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Preheat the Oven:

  • Set your oven to 220°C (430°F) to ensure it’s hot enough for a crispy crust.

Assemble the Pizza:

  • o Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the pizza base.
  • o Arrange the marinated protein, onions, and bell peppers on top.
  • o Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly across.

Bake the Pizza:

  • Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve:

  • After removing the pizza from the oven, sprinkle fresh cilantro leaves on top for a burst of freshness. Slice and enjoy.
