- 1 lb sausage your choice of mild or spicy
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend
- 1 cup diced bell peppers optional
- ½ cup diced onions optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter for greasing
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet, brown the sausage until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the cooked sausage, cheese, and vegetables (if using) into the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
