Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sausage your choice of mild or spicy
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers optional
  • ½ cup diced onions optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter for greasing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the sausage until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooked sausage, cheese, and vegetables (if using) into the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
