Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a madeleine pan with butter and lightly flour it.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and heavy cream, mixing until combined.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the bowl. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  • Stir in the melted butter until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the madeleine pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the tops spring back when touched.
  • Let the madeleines cool for a few minutes before removing them from the pan. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
