- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a pan, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add marinara sauce to the meat mixture. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
Layer the lasagna: Start with a thin layer of meat sauce, followed by lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, and more meat sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of meat sauce.
Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
