Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a pan, cook the ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add marinara sauce to the meat mixture. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Layer the lasagna: Start with a thin layer of meat sauce, followed by lasagna noodles, cheese mixture, and more meat sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of meat sauce.
  • Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
