Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup coconut sugar or honey
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch cake pan.

Combine Dry Ingredients:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, avocado oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond milk.

Combine and Fold:

  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture. Mix until just combined. Fold in dark chocolate chips if using.

Bake:

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:

  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
