Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sliced button or cremini mushrooms
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2  tbsp butter
  • 1  tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼  cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Clean and slice mushrooms. Chop onion and garlic.
  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Add mushrooms, season, and cook until golden.
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan.
  • Simmer until sauce thickens. Stir gently.
  • Adjust salt and pepper.
  • Garnish and serve warm.
