  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Start by seasoning both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Sear the Chicken:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the garlic is fragrant.

Add Cream and Broth:

  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.

Incorporate Parmesan:

  • Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine Chicken with Sauce:

  • Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet.
  • Spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the chicken.
  • Cover and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving.
