Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shaved
  • 1 cup croutons store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: anchovy paste or anchovy-free Worcestershire sauce
  • Freshly cracked pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the Romaine lettuce. Tear or chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a small bowl or food processor, mix garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend well.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine lettuce, Parmesan, and croutons.
  • Drizzle with the Caesar dressing and toss until evenly coated.
  • Optionally, top with grilled chicken or tofu for added protein.
  • Serve with freshly cracked black pepper for extra flavor.
